To be successful is really a big deal, but the truth is
that everyone is already a success. Merriam-Webster dictionary defines success
as, “a person that succeeds.” which means. The key to long term success in life
is your Education and skills, your life Experiences, and most of all, personal
character.
Everything is hard before it is easy always put that at the
back of your mind. It takes time and conscious effort to make it work. As
humans, we often have a very twisted definition of success and this makes us
depressed when it looks like we’re not “arrive yet”.
If you keep asking
questions “If we are not there yet?” You’ll
never enjoy the process. A much better question is, “Where are we now?” It
creates an opportunity to explore and appreciate the momentary happenings.
I am not saying you have to have billion in your account
before you can add been successful to your name. It means simply reaching a
point where when you look back, you can clearly recognize you have self
discipline, broken limits and scaled borders you never thought were possible
for you.
So here are principles you can apply
to your work and life to ensure when you look back in No less time from now,
you feel grateful for what you done:
1. Daily Exercise
Focus and concentration are center of success. The ability
to carry out daily exercise on what you want and concentrate on a single minded
on achieve it, is one best exercise one can do. I made a decision to write on a
daily basis, it sounded nice, right. When I started, I had to wonder whether or
not I was in my right senses when I made that commitment.
Mastery takes time. Consistent daily practice in whatever
you doing, in no less time you will see how successful you are become to be.
Little drops make a mighty ocean. Nonetheless,
you can’t compare one drop per week to the same drop per day. The latter makes
a mighty ocean faster.
So I encourage you to start from where you are now, with
whatever you have and just don’t procrastinate, because it had killed so many
persons dream.
2. Your
Comfort Zone
A comfort zone is a place where you’re most confident and
comfortable. It’s not a place where you’re lazy. We are all comfortable at what
have we are into, it can be our business, lifestyle and house etc
A singer is most confident and comfortable when he sings.
Same with a craftsman when he creates, a writer when he writes, a
work-from-home entrepreneur when he works from home, and so on.
When one leveraging is comfort zone then means pushing yourself to limits you never thought you could be
pushed to. It means learning everything you need to know about your
Field and implementing everything. It could mean writing books instead of just
articles, creating a design course instead of just designing for clients, or
helping people get medical help.
However, to get to the point where you’re able to perfectly
leverage your comfort zone, you need to build expertise through practice.
That’s the next point.
“You cannot push anyone up a ladder unless he be willing to
climb a little himself.” – Andrew Carnegie
3. The Right Platform
When Napoleon Hill, One of the most influential bestsellers
of all time of Think and grow rich, when Hill started writing, he was ask by Andrew
Carnegie if he would spend 20 years or more carrying the message of what he was
writing to individual in the world, he said
yes and today, over 15 million copies
sold worldwide.
The right platform isn’t just defined by what format your
work is in. It’s also defined by where you feel most comfortable (remember our
point on comfort zone?). The right platform could be online or offline. The
bottom line is you’re sharing something through a medium that reaches a certain
number of people.
Don’t bother about going viral with what you share, or
getting 100 likes every time. You’ll be tempted to, but that’s not the point. Stay focused on being a success every day. Push
yourself beyond limits right there in your comfort zone. In a couple of years,
you’ll be surprised at how those little drops make you mighty. Anyone who comes
in contact with you wouldn’t know when they get drowned in your work.
“I never dreamt of success. I worked for it.” – Este

4. Daily Time Management
Begin
daily time management by making a list, write down everything you have to do. The
best time to make this List is the Night before, write down every activities
you want to carry out the next day. Always arrange the list according to scale
of important. Using the A-E time management base on the consequence if you fail
to carry out the task, never leave task A for B, if you not done with A tasks.
